“The Grass Is Always Greener…”
Printmaker and land artist Yngve Riber has created another work for ArtParken, situated in the orchard at the eastern end of the manor park. “The Grass Is Always Greener …” consists of a tree trunk sliced into 25 black-smoked discs with recessed ornaments from the surrounding nature and placed on a bed of wood chips. The discs are held in place in strict order by a square wooden frame and one disc is blank. For in every bunch there is a black sheep, or someone who stands out.
